Pliers for different jobs
Round-nose pliers help form curves and loops. Flat or chain-nose pliers help grip and position wire. Smooth jaw surfaces are useful when you want to avoid unwanted marks.
Cutters and a clear workspace
Use cutters intended for your wire and eye protection when cutting. Keep cut ends contained and leave enough clear space to turn your project comfortably.
Choose supplies for the project
Wire comes in different metals, thicknesses, and tempers. Ask Tammy about a suitable starting combination before investing in supplies for a workshop.
